Component Engineer

Job Title: Component Engineer Location: US-PA-   Overview: Perform Product Stewardship duties on Products related to environmental regulations including EU Directive 2011/65/EU combined with amendment Directive 2015/863 (RoHS-3), latest REACH-SVHC Candidate list, latest California Proposition 65 chemical listing and WEEE logo on CE marked products Experience in computer based tools, such as PLM Software, Microsoft Office, etc., the candidate will investigate/review product drawings, specifications, packaging, and bills of materials, document human interface part numbers for wipe testing, and build upon existing plastic raw materials database. They will also perform functions as necessary, such as contacting material suppliers/manufacturers to support all product stewardship compliance documentation & retention activities   Primary Skills: 1. Handson exprinece on product compliance - RoHS, REACH, Prop65, Conflict Mineral 2. Exprience in analysis of electronic components and material (plastic & metal) 3. Supervision, ability to analyze product assignments to determine best course of action regarding which environmental regulations apply, and what data needs to be collected, recorded in a database and/or archived in appropriate repository. 4. Ability to quickly learn PLM search capabilities to retrieve product drawings and bills of materials. 5. Knowledge of product structures, with ability to search down large data structures to find and record supply chain level raw material information and part numbers. 6. Takes a proactive role in providing recommendations to improve process or data integrity. 7. Establishes a working knowledge of the processesrequired to drive each assignment to completion. 8. Practices continued self-improvement in verbal and written communication skills. Utilizes computer programs and software to be more productive. 9. A good team member that is able to understand and use information from others to achieve a common goal. 10. Able to coordinate and bring successful closure to each assignment. 11.Must have good communication, organizational skills.   Secondary Skills: Must be self-motivated and able to complete tasks with little supervision.   Educational Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering Electrical/ Mechanical

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
