POSITION SUMMARY
Aetna continues to be a leader in building a stronger, more effective health care system. The Enterprise Systems Architecture team plays a significant role in this transformation by creating conceptual system architectures to meet the desired business capabilities. Systems architects will work with business, information and technology architects to develop comprehensive enterprise solution roadmaps that enable leading edge capabilities in response to our diversification efforts. Additionally, this area engages in governance activities to ensure that implementation projects align to strategic objectives.
Fundamental Components:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzing and documenting current state and future state of IT systems.
Constructing roadmaps to detail out the steps necessary to transition to the future state architecture.
Translating business processes into standardized and integrated system components
Translating business activities into reusable service components for implementation by the development teams.
Working in collaboration with business stakeholders, program management, and development to maximize short and long term value of IT investments.
Demonstrating understanding of industry and technology trends and assisting senior management in developing strategic vision.
Effectively communicating the strategic architecture throughout all levels of the organization.
Governing implementation projects by scoring their conformance to standards and roadmaps.
ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION
Candidate must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of new technologies and technological trends and how they relate to fulfilling business needs. The ideal candidate understands business and how business operates and understands how to leverage technology to help the company realize its goals.
Individuals applying for this position should be self-starters and natural leaders.
Healthcare, Insurance/Financial Services, or e-Commerce industry knowledge desired.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS OF ENGAGEMENT POSITION
The position requires considerable knowledge of web, mobile, interactive voice response, and multi-platform and hybrid architectures, development processes, and e-Commerce/CRM business processes especially those related to constituent/customer sales and service.
Keen awareness of identity and access management challenges especially in context to healthcare requirements is a must.
Experience in architecting delightful constituent experiences (CX) is a desired.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS OF INSIGHTS POSITION
Customer-facing, big data environments for systems of insight have become key components of digital transformation efforts. This position requires considerable knowledge of the analytic functions and data lake / data warehouse architectures and technologies that are required for modern, system of insight applications.
Experience in architecting with an analytics and/or insight driven organization is required.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

years experience in enterprise, application, and information architecture design with significant experience managing the application delivery process.
Must demonstrate technical leadership, be able to turn vision into action, drive outcomes, and promote common goals and actions.
Must demonstrate an understanding of enterprise integration across hybrid processing environments.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Information Technology/TOGAF v8 Certification is desired
Information Technology/TOGAF v9 Certification is desired

This is an office based position and can work from any approved Aetna office.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
