Business Development Specialist

We are seeking high energy, dynamic and competitive professionals with a strong business acumen and natural sales instincts to join our business development team. You will join a growing, progressive team with the primary focus of increasing the sales pipeline for the company. We offer a fast-paced environment with a large degree of job autonomy, but with the guidance of experienced and supportive mentors.

Duties & Responsibilities:
oGenerate B2B leads through a myriad of strategic initiatives, channels and methods
oConduct follow up and qualification of inbound and/or outbound leads.
oIdentify, reach and influence key decision makers and stakeholders within targeted geographic locations. Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential and key buying personas and have the ability to discuss relevant business challenges for each.
oDeliver superior client and customer service with unmatched professionalism in written and verbal communications
oCultivate existing business relationships
oThrough direct contact with consumer leads, generate new business.
oManage time effectively, meet personal and company goals while working efficiently with other team members
oEfficiently manage time to focus on the highest priority activities that increase pipeline
oContact clients and consumers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and resolve any complaints in a timely manner.
oThis position requires a large volume of direct customer interactions over the phone and by e-mail in order to meet and exceed monthly goals
oRemain current on product knowledge and consumer preferences through regular attendance of sales meetings and vendor trainings. Working together with the sales team develop objectives and strategies on an annual basis
oProvide the highest level of customer service to all customers
oBe the voice of the client and communicate all customer requirements to the organization and its operations
oCommunicate and investigate any increases or decreases in product demand and stay abreast of competitors and market conditions
Qualifications:
oExtraordinary communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with polished presentation skills.
oStrong computer skills (MS Office suite - Word, Excel, Power Point, + CRM software )
oBachelor's Degree or 2-5 years in sales, sales support, marketing or customer service
oComfortable performing basic sales duties, business development and lead generation within a full training program
oCompetitive, positive and outgoing personality
oExcellent and professional customer service skills
oAbility to work with a wide variety of people and communicate effectively
oMilitary and or K12 knowledge is a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
