The successful candidate will work with a team in support of projects involving industrial heating furnaces and electric steelmaking and refining.
Activities will include electrical/instrumentation design/specification as well as process control software development. This position will be involved in the full project life-cycle: sales support, design, implementation, and commissioning.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-10 years related experience.
Work experience involving the electrical design of furnaces or other high-temperature applications is preferred, including high voltage knowledge
-Electrical schematics
-Panel design
-Electrical checkout capabilities
-Motor control
-National Electric Code knowledge
-Furnace and process control instrumentation background
-Cable and Conduit routing experience
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Knowledge of AutoCADEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
