A leadership role within the Learning organization responsible for analyzing, designing, delivering and evaluating training at multiple levels within the organization to develop functional experts and build leadership capabilities. Direct ownership of the strategy and execution of critical training/learning programs, as well as teaching, mentoring and coaching leaders and teammates on ad-hoc performance needs. Will need to navigate cross-functionally at leadership levels below and above this role with the ability to influence senior leaders. Program Ownership Execute strategy for critical training programs in partnership with the business (wing to wing) to develop and retain functional experts as well as future leaders for the organization Manage programs, people and materials on a daily basis Teach, coach and mentor the training resources who help to execute the program delivery Provide training and guidance to content delivery resources on and beyond direct report team Be a champion of the programs by promoting and ensuring execution Participate in creation of new programs and strategies, as applicable Partnerships and Training Effectiveness Act as a learning partner to analyze and determine performance needs of the core client Consult with users and leaders to recommend appropriate learning and non-learning solutions to drive improved performance and business results; make recommendations on learning and non-learning strategies that will close performance gaps Influence the learning strategy by leveraging subject matter expertise for key programs and curricula Analyze program/course evaluations and business results to determine training effectiveness; communicate analysis and recommend program/course adjustments, as needed, to improve business results Work closely with global merchandising departments, along with the training organization, to identify and define training needs; update programs as processes and systems are changed/updated Partner to define and develop solutions/actions to enable teammates to meet business needs; ensuring consistency with company standards, policies and procedures and programs Learning Development and Training Facilitation As a lead Subject Matter Expert, partner with Learning Experience Designers and/or lead the design, development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of training Facilitate professional development courses for teammates of all levels Serve as a coach and mentor to all teammates within the organization Manage the delivery, execution and drive adoption of key programs as well as facilitate enterprise leadership and professional skills programs Provide quality control over delivery and execution; conduct train the trainer sessions, as needed Recommend solutions/actions to address performance gaps and drive improved business results Program Analysis Collect and analyze program data to determine the success of key programs/curricula Measure learning completion, effectiveness, application of learning and overall adoption Proactively recommend and/or implement changes to drive better results Communicate program results on a regular cadence to appropriate leadership Manage budget within reasonable range of annual target People Management Actively lead, coach and develop direct reports ensuring consistent and thorough execution of the company's Performance Management responsibilities assigned to a leader of people Bachelor's Degree 5-7 years total experience with 3-5 years' experience managing direct reports, and 1-3 years leadership development experience Strong knowledge of the theories of adult learning, instructional design, management and change dynamics (personal and organizational) Complex decision-making, business acumen and maturity is required In-depth knowledge of leadership development and leading others Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, MS SharePoint, Cornerstone Designing, Developing and evaluating training programs Project management knowledge, and the bbility to drive projects and manage project teams Proven history of communicating effectively with diverse groups at all levels of an organization Create a budget, control expenses, and identify ways to marshal resources to support large scale programs Strong ability to partner with senior leaders to identify and solve business needs related to teammate performance & learning A model leader who possess ideal leadership skills to deliver leadership training, coach and mentor leaders as well as direct reports Understand and execute on Adult Learning theories Strong presentation skills
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
